Measuring Guide
Directions
Step 1) Marygrove offers three awning sizes: 12, 15 and 19ft. Measure along the exterior wall of your house to decide how wide you want your awning. See actual frame widths above when measuring for your awning
Step 2) You should know that the awning enclosure alone requires a minimum clearance of 9 inches. Make sure the supporting wall has no obstructions on the surface where you plan to mount the awning.
Step 3) Measure from the patio floor up to where you plan to locate the awning on the wall. Be sure that the awning will hang no lower than 7'6" from the patio floor.
Step 4) Remember, the awnings support will need at least 9 inches of unobstructed space to hang - If you do not have the proper space to mount the awning under the soffit you will have to proceed with a roof mount installation. There are Optional Roof Mount brackets for the size awning you choose.
Step 5) If you have a bay window, door or chimney that you want to mount your awning over, you will want to order our new Bay Mount option offered by Marygrove Awnings.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Bay mount brackets are available in different depths to accommodate different applications. If you are ordering this mounting option you will need to contact Marygrove.com to verify correct depth of bay mount application prior to us sending out brackets. You also have to determine if awning is going to be centered or offset around this application.
