There are two types of Marygrove awnings -- the entry level "Fixed Slope" awning and state-of-the-art "EZ Slope" awning.
Fixed Slope Awnings
The FIXED SLOPE awning is one of our most popular and affordable awning systems. The slope of this very versatile awning can be adjusted to a drop of 22 degrees. This will help shade you from the sun's harmful rays and control the late afternoon sun, keeping your patio 20-30 degrees cooler -- just in time for the late afternoon barbeque.
EZ Slope Awning
The EZ Slope awning is the state-of-the art in retractable awnings. Like the Fixed Slope awning, this awning can be extended or retracted at any time. But in addition, this unique system can be sloped or pitched up to a 40 degree drop by simply turning a crank. Click here to see how it works.
This feature has many user benefits, like:
greater sun control by lowering the front of the awning to attack the sun at the worst angles, and
light rain wash off by tilting one side down, allowing the rain to wash of to one side.
Both systems can be motorized as an option with an outdoor switch control or remote control. These motors come standard with a Built in Manual Override, that allows you to retract the awning manually in the event of electrical failure.
