The roof mount application is very common. This type of application will give greater head room in an area where the awning is lower than 6 ½ feet. The heavy duty aluminum roof brackets are designed for strength and when secured properly to the roof the awning can be cantilevered without the need for additional support. You will have greater head room under the awning and you will be able to slope the awning at a greater angle for better sun control.
